This set of Accounts brings together information on expenditure and performance of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills over the period 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011.
Everything we do at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) is aimed in some way at supporting economic growth – the Government’s top priority. We want to achieve sustainable growth in every sector of the economy and every part of the country – growth which underpins the Government’s broader commitments to fairness, social mobility and stronger communities. We made good progress on this agenda in 2010-11.
