Separate procurement forums are held, for the following:
• BERR Group Procurement Contacts
• Agency Procurement Contacts
• NDPB Procurement Contacts
The Forums provides a means of raising procurement standards within BERR, its Agencies and NDPBs. They achieve this by the following:
• developing, maintaining and disseminating best procurement practice
• providing a sounding board for the development of procurement policy and practice
• maintaining an overview of the structure of procurement across the business area
• providing a network for the dissemination of BERR procurement information
• providing a focal point for discussion and information exchange on procurement, including problem solving
• providing a vehicle for collaborative procurement across BERR.
