Why does nothing happen when I click on a link to a PDF file?

When clicking on a link to a PDF file, a blank screen appears before the document is opened.  If you have a slow connection, a delay can give the impression that nothing is happening.  Either allow more time or save the file to your computer by right-clicking on the link and selecting the "Save" option.

If you have Real Download installed on your computer, this can sometimes prevent PDF files from opening properly.  Uninstalling Real Download will solve the problem.
