As the first woman Managing Director of a football club, and the youngest Managing Director of a UK PLC, I'm used to being seen as a pioneer. That's why I feel entrepreneurship is so important - every entrepreneur out there is a pioneer, breaking new ground in their own way, and overall making a major difference to our society and economy.
The Enterprising Britain competition is a brilliant way of rewarding the places around the country that are making entrepreneurship possible, and revitalising themselves and their communities as a result. I wholly support the aims of the competition, and look forward to finding out where the winner will be in September!
