Consultation on a European Proposal to prohibit certain carcinogens, mutagens and substances toxic to reproduction (cmrs) being placed on the market for sale to the general public.
This consultation seeks views on a European Commission Proposal for a Directive that will, if adopted, prohibit for sale to the general public a further 42 substances capable of inducing cancer, hereditary genetic defects and non-hereditary congenital malformations. Views on all aspects of the Proposal are invited, but particularly on any impact the proposed measures might have on industry and the consumer.
