This consultation seeks views on the implementation of European Commission Directive 2000/52/EC amending Directive 80/723/EEC of June 1980 on the transparency of financial relations between Member States and public undertakings, and on financial transparency within certain undertakings. The primary purpose of the consultation is to gather information on who is likely to be caught by the Directive and whether there are already legislative provisions or other requirements in place that would meet some or all of the Directive's requirements, so that we can judge how best to implement. It is aimed primarily at Chief Finance Officers and their teams.
