This consultation document seeks your views on DTI’s proposals for implementing into UK nation law Directive 2006/3/EC concerning textile names, and Directive 2006/6/EC concerning methods for the quantitative analysis of binary textile fibre mixtures.
As well as transposing the two Directives, the DTI propose to consolidate the existing UK provisions, so far as they list the permitted textile names.
