This is a consultation on a proposal by the European Commission for a Directive to establish requirements in relation to the exercise of voting rights by shareholders of companies with a registered office in a Member State and whose shares are admitted to trading on a regulated market.
The proposal aims to improve shareholder rights and corporate governance in EU listed companies, as well as business competitiveness in general.
