Registration of Scottish Floating Charges

This consultation document seeks views on the use of the power provided by the Companies Act 2006 which would enable floating charges registered in the Scottish register of floating charges to be treated as if they have been registered with the Registrar. This will remove the burden of double registration for Scottish floating charges.
Views are particularly sought on whether the proposed arrangements would enable third parties to continue to have easy access to information about a company’s floating charges.
