Package Travel Regulations - Consultation on draft guidelines for business.

This consultation will be of interest primarily to the travel industry. The Department is consulting on new Guidance for the travel industry, aimed at helping them assess whether part or all of their business constitutes a “package” for the purposes of the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 and the Civil Aviation (Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing) Regulations 1995. The new Guidance would replace an earlier version, and reflects developments in the interpretation of the law in the light of recent court decisions.
