Consultation on a System of Regulatory Budgets

This consultation seeks views on the introduction of a system of regulatory budgets. The consultation document explains the background to regulatory budgets and discusses how it could work in practice. Responses to the consultation will help inform the Government’s decisions to be taken on the possible implementation of a regulatory budgets system.
The formal consultation process runs from Wednesday 6 August 2008 to Wednesday 12 November 2008.
