The table below summarises the formal consultation exercises that have taken place during the implementation of the Consumer Credit Act 2006.
Consultations on various aspects of the Act have been published by this Department, the Office of Fair Trading (OFT), and the Ministry of Justice (MoJ). The consultation documents can be accessed either from links in the table below or the links on the right.

| June - September 2007 (OFT) Closed, awaiting response. | Guidance on new fitness test, requirements and civil penalties Statement of Policy. The consultations closed on 21 September. The guidance documents were issued on 7 January 2008. Responses will be published shortly. |
