  • Science, Technology and Innovation Policy Economics with special reference to knowledge transfer.
  • Economics of knowledge infrastructure, including standards and measurement.
  • Economics of design.
  • Coordination of analysis and utilisation of the results of the UK Innovation Survey 2005. Liaison with academic research groups on Innovation and SMEs.
  • Management of Statistics Unit.
