South Riverside Community Development Centre is a community-managed local charity and company limited by guarantee operating in South West Cardiff. Their capacity-building project concentrates on the areas of equality in employment on grounds of religion or belief, they will be consulting on, translating, and producing awareness raising materials which meets the specific needs of employers and employees, and the black and minority ethnic community in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

They will be producing information materials on the Employment Equality (Sexual Orientation and Religion or Belief) Regulations and disseminating and sharing the resources with their community through information days for employers and employees.
They will be working with another project in the area Ealing Racial Equality Council to maximise the reach of their activity

St. Anne's Shelter and Housing Action Training Partnership are being funded to hold a series of training events in Sheffield, Wakefield and Leeds to explain the new Employment Equality (Sexual Orientation) Regulations, using a variety of interactive learning techniques to consider the issue of sexual orientation in employment. A range of awareness raising material is also being produced.

Stonewall will be producing a second updated edition of its widely-praised Employer's Guide to the new Employment Equality (Sexual Orientation) Regulations 2003 which includes a best practice toolkit. They will also be publishing and disseminating a new edition of their 'straight-talking' pocket-sized guidelines for employees, which has proved to be very popular and helpful for lesbian, gay and bisexual employees.

Tameside Racial Equality Council works in cross-sector partnerships and engagements to ensure that communities in their local area can live together. They will be using these networks to educate and inform individuals and employees of their rights and responsibilities under the new Employment Equality (Religion or Belief) Regulations.
Tameside REC will ensure that information on the new Regulations is included into existing briefings by REC staff. They will also be disseminating existing materials and providing signposting to sources of more in-depth information.

They will be producing an information card, web based materials and holding a dissemination seminar event.
