It’s Time to Talk Training - How to develop a dialogue on training and skills at the workplace
BERR has worked with the CBI, the TUC and DIUS to produce a publication that we believe breaks new ground. It addresses a critical, yet relatively unexplored, aspect of the training and skills agenda – how two-way dialogue on training between employer and workforce can be achieved effectively and the benefits this brings to both.
‘It’s Time to Talk Training’ uses 10 real-life examples of effective workplace dialogue on training in action. Covering a number of business sectors, sizes and industrial relations models, the case studies are intended to act as a guide for employers, unions and employees on how best they can engage on training and skills issues.
