This area of the website is part of the delivery of the Government’s undertaking, in the Energy White Paper published in May 2007, to introduce a new information service providing forward-looking energy market information relating to security of supply. A well as providing a link to the main report, it supports the strategic overview set out in the report, with raw data, background analysis and links to other sources for those with an interest in a more in-depth examination of particular areas summarised in the report. It also enables us to provide regularly updated information in a way which is not possible in an annual report.
