The International Energy Agency (IEA) is an energy organisation connected to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), which has 27 member countries. Its research, analysis and publications help to inform the development of policy on reliable, affordable and clean energy. Its remit is based on the “Three E’s” of balanced energy policy making: energy security, economic development and environmental protection.
