Electricity and Gas Consumption Data at Middle Layer Super Output Area and Intermediate Geography (MLSOA/IG)

Electricity and gas consumption data can now be accessed down to Middle Layer Super Output Area (MLSOA) level for each region in England and Wales and down to intermediate geography zones for Scotland. In March 2008 these data gained national statistic status. Further explanations of these datasets can be found in the accompanying note.

Users can also use the MLSOA Front End document to filter for individual local authorities as well as comparing the data from several areas at once. Due to its size (10.2MB) the file may take a long time to download. Copies are also available on CD ROM, which can be obtained by contacting Joanna Chan on 020 7215 2703 or by emailing Joanna.Chan@berr.gsi.gov.uk

Please note: this workbook requires users to download the file onto your hard drive and "Enable macros" before it will work correctly.
