Total Final Energy Consumption at Regional and Local Authority Level

Estimates of total final energy consumption from 2003 to 2006 have been made available here by aggregating the four main data sets shown above at both regional (NUTS1) and local (NUTS4) levels.

In March 2008 this dataset gained National Statistics status. This applies to all data from 2005 onwards. Please note that the 2003 and 2004 data are still classed as experimental.

Please note that the 2005 and 2006 datasets were revised on 25 June 2009 due to change of methodology for road transport fuels.
