ECO: Compliance Code of Practice
This document explains how companies and others can effectively comply with the law on strategic export controls.
The code increases awareness of the controls amongst those affected and was drawn up in close consultation with industry.

In September 2006 ECO published a manual which explains to companies why compliance visits occur, what happens before, during and after the visit and some of the penalties companies might face if they are found to be non-compliant. Click on the link in the right hand column.
