Offering real help to business is a priority at all levels of Government. Across the country, Government Departments, Local Authorities, Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) and other government bodies have all worked in partnership to deliver simpler business support. |
Much work has already been done with existing schemes rationalised and reviewed, so that by 2010 all government support products will be part of Solutions for Business managed, marketed and monitored in a coherent, coordinated, consistent way.
In addition, local Business Link provision is being developing to provide the best customer services.
RDAs lead on simplifying business support in the regions and a number of local authorities are also trialling different aspects of BSSP to ensure smooth delivery at the local level.
