How to Book an Export Control Course
Find out more about booking to attend a training course delivered by the Export Control Organisation.
Cost
The cost per delegate of each export control training event is shown on the booking form (attached to the latest Training Bulletin). Payment will be invoiced after the event, but to reduce the problems we have had collecting payments a Purchase Order (PO) number must be provided before we can confirm attendance at your chosen event.
Alternatively you may pay by cheque, payable to “BIS”.
Note: We cannot accept payment by credit, debit or charge card.
Cancellation
Owing to the limited number of places available you will still incur a charge and will be invoiced accordingly if we have confirmed your place at the workshop and you have not cancelled the reservation in writing or by email at least 5 working days before the event date.
If the Export Control Organisation (ECO) has to cancel a training course or training event, any attendance fees already paid will be reimbursed without undue delay, or used as credit for a future course. However, as the ECO only makes a nominal charge for attendance on its training courses to cover its basic costs, any further claims on the part of the delegate are excluded.
Registration
If you wish to register, please complete the registration form attached to the latest ECO Training Bulletin (DOC, 494 Kb) and return it to:

Further details
Once you have submitted the registration form, you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt within five working days. This will also indicate whether we have been able to reserve a place for you. This acknowledgement will be sent by e-mail so please ensure that you provide an accurate and clearly written e-mail address. Full details (comprising venue, timings and a full attendance list) of the course will be sent, again by e-mail, to those registered approximately two weeks before the course date. If you have registered to attend a course and have not received these details five working days before the course, please contact us.
