Gas Appliances Directive - United Kingdom Notified Bodies
EUROPE DIRECTIVE 90/396/EEC: NOTIFICATION OF BODIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GAS APPLIANCES DIRECTIVE
Under the provisions of Article 9 of the Gas Appliances Directive, the Department for Business Enterprise & Regulatory Reform (BERR) has notified the European Commission and other member States that the following laboratories/organisations have been appointed by the Secretary of State for Business Enterprise & Regulatory Reform. Also the Commission has suggested that where the Directive calls for the identification symbol of the notified body to be used with the CE mark, this should be represented by a unique distinguishing number for each notified body. The number allocated by the Commission can be found directly after the name and address of each laboratory. This list is correct as of 1 August 2008.
All enquiries about the services offered by the above bodies should be made direct to the laboratories/organisations.
