Stakeholder Notice - February 2007
1. I am writing to let you know that we will issue our response to the consultation on the CCA 2006 draft Statutory Instruments covering exemptions, post-contract information and licensing slightly later than we planned. We had originally intended to issue our response around 23 February and send out the revised SIs for final thoughts in mid March.
2. We now feel it would be sensible to spend a little more time to ensure we get the detail of the secondary legislation right. We will publish our response alongside the revised SIs and a PricewaterhouseCoopers’ report, which we commissioned to review the implementation timetable for the CCA 2006, on 12th March at the latest. We would then allow consultees one week in which to respond with any final comments on the SIs.
