Forum Pre-meeting:

Following the announcement in the 2007 Energy white paper: meeting the energy challenge, a preliminary meeting of representatives of the relevant interest groups was held to discuss the remit, format and membership of the proposed Coal Forum. The following presentation was given at that meeting to set the context for the work of the Forum:
