Welcome to the Office for Nuclear Development (OND).
From these webpages you can find out about the Government’s policy on nuclear energy and work currently underway in the OND.
The aim of the OND is to facilitate new nuclear investment in the UK.
It was launched formally on 18 September at the first meeting of the Nuclear Development Forum.
The Forum, chaired by the Secretary of State, will bring together Government with key industry stakeholders to ensure that that there is regular and high level contact between all parties on the issues that matter the most to potential investors and operators.
