Encouraging Small Business Growth

The UK needs more businesses with both the vision and capacity to grow. Growing a business is not easy. Some private sector support is available, but government intervention is needed to address gaps and market failures. The government is rationalising business support products and is taking steps to improve SME procurement opportunities and link R&D/innovation to entrepreneurship and growth.
