Following the adoption of an EU arms embargo on Uzbekistan, the Department of Trade and Industry has amended a number of open general licences. The amended licences came into force on 2 December 2005 and the details are given below:
Uzbekistan has been added to the list of excluded destinations in Schedule 2 to the licences below:
The provisions for the export of protectively marked technology has been amended, and Uzbekistan has been added to the list of excluded destinations in Schedule 2 to the licences below:
