Skillset is the Sector Skills Council supporting skills and training for people and businesses to ensure the UK computer games industry maintains a world class position.

Skillset provides the games industry with expertise and action on skills issues across the UK and across the education spectrum, up to date and accurate information on the size and shape of the workforce, advice and guidance on courses, qualifications and staff development.
Skillset has developed an industry accreditation processes for games degrees, enabling the industry to recognize and reward excellence in Higher Education. They have also created the games industry’s first Modern Apprenticeship, in QA Testing for games.
